Linda’s testimony
When I look back over the last 25 years I can't believe how fast it has gone. it has been an incredible journey with the people of Fish Hoek, at Fullies and most importantly with God.
I thank God that He sent us to live and work in Fish Hoek. sure there have been difficulties and trials BUT GOD has been faithful. I have seen God answer prayer in miraculous ways, heal me miraculously on 2 separate occasions, on another occasion He very specifically led me to a Doctor who diagnosed my problem in a second - when others could not.
I have also seen God come through for us financially enabling us to buy our own home, educate our kids and be in a position to be a blessing to others (what could be nicer that that?)
And the most wonderful thing is that God has taught me to walk with Him, He has taught me to pray, to walk by faith and to just "wait on Him" and renew my strength. Isaiah 40. I can truly see that He has bought health, healing and growth and maturity in my life.
I want to encourage everybody to abandon yourself to God in total surrender and faith and stand back and watch Him work. You will have the most wonderful journey too.

I want to thank Linda, Jonathan, Darrell and Kevin (jnr) for all their love and support over the 25 years. There are also so many more people who have stuck with us through the good and difficult times. You have all been amazing. Thank you. What a remarkable congregation you have been!

After a lot of prayer we asked the leadership not to do anything for us personally. Linda and I have always felt that ministry has been and will always be about people and God’s Kingdom.
So . . . We have asked folk if, during the month, they would consider giving a donation toward one of our missionary couples who head up an organisation called Shining Star Sailing. Their names are Dale and Natalie Smyth. We can say with great joy that the Hand of God has been upon them in an amazing way. So please join us in this celebration and giving to missions.
